Hello, I'm a professional photographer/videographer, and I'm getting into aerials now, that will probably do real estate, events, weddings, surveying etc... I already owned the DJI 550 NAZA GPS, rig with FPV and video equipments, I just need to know the business & legal side of it. So I just wanted ask what are the requirements to become a professional Aerial Photographer & Videographer? ie. Licensing? Certification? Safety? Training? I'll appreciate any help, advise, direction & pointers you can provide. Thank you!

First and foremost be able to fly your F550 as well as you can use your favorite camera. I am guessing you are in the states which seems to be a bit mixed up at the moment about rules and regs but I am sure the wise on that will jump in.

There is a company I have seen I think in LA defying all the laws asn suing them for real-estate. I think its in the video I posted last week from journeyman TV about the rise of the machines.

Since the business and legal side depend a lot on where you live, it would help to tell where you are living.

Apart from that, there is few threads covering these aspects (at least for US and the UK) on this forum.

:) soooooooo true!

You crack me up Denny

LOL sooo true! I spent close to $2k on this with no return yet. Hopefully, it's the same as when I started buying all those expensive cameras and lens. But then again, just to be able to fly and see things on birds eye view is already rewarding. :)

Well, from the looks of things all you need is a dji f450 and a gopro and you are pro!

I have a feeling that this is true. I actually own both, I just haven't put the F450 together yet, and started with the f550 first. I just noticed that the f550, is heavy with the added 2 motors, extra battery weight due to 5000-6000mah, etc., and doesnt' really give me long flight time. I'm just hoping that the f550, is more stable in windy condition. But I guess, I'll find out later on. :)
