I just built my first multirotor after flying a Phantom for a while. I'm getting some strange LED codes. I plug it in and it flashes red and green for a while then switches to solid green like it was waiting for a vertical compass calibration. I tried spinning it like a compass calibration but nothing seems to happen. Any thoughts on what the problem might be?

It flashes red and green to indicate how many GPS satellite locks it has acquired. I think Each flash represents two satellites? One green, two red is 0-2 locks, two green, one red is 3-4 locks, etc? I may be off on the numbers, but the concept is sound. Compass calibration is yellow and only if you go into calibration mode with your GPS/ATT switch.

Solid green is either indicator of USB connection to your PC or ready to calibrate compass. It's odd you would see it on the ground and especially after flashing red/green. Maybe check the LED connection, make sure the USB port is clear of any debris, etc.
