Just seen this http://www.vuzix.com/augmented-reality/products_wrap1200ar.html.
Its a new Vuzix glass with stereo vision. Essentially this allows you to see "through" the visor as if there was no visor, but with the possibility to augment what you see with additional data overlays. I'm wondering how hard it would be to have my OSD info on the edges of my view, whiles actually viewing my aircraft from the traditional view point. If I could alternate my views from third to first person perspective on command, these could prove to be a great bit of tech. Would never need to take them off during a flight and have the best of both worlds, fpv or standard 3rd person (watching from the ground) perspectives.
