I have an S1000 with GH3 gimbal. Gimbal video out is running directly to ImmersionRC 600mw TX (video and gnd), and the TX is powered directly from one of the XT60 sockets. During gimbal initialization the video is clean but as soon as the gimbal settles down I get a horizontal roll bar in the video. I've tried lifting the video ground to the TX (video connected only), repositioning the antenna and cables, adding an LC circuit to the power feed on the TX, you name it. Nothing has an effect. However if I power the TX from a separate battery I have a clean signal, which implies some trash from the gimbal is getting in through the power ground, or a ground loop. I also have an AVL58 for my FPV camera, and when I bring gimbal video to THAT (via iOSD), I get some interference there too though it's more on the diagonal. That was the stock setup.
Any suggestions of something else to try before I start flying with a separate TX battery? Thanks for your help.
