I think the thing that intrigues me most at this point is that it really doesn’t have a competitive counter-part. It’s docile for training, offers a 2-axis gimbal with GoPro mount, and can turn into an all out missile capable of rolls and flips. It’s GPS enabled with an app, offers basic return to home functionality and a panic button for when you’re a little nervous at the sticks. And that really is just the start of what the Aton offers.
Obviously, Traxxas has the resources to pour into the drone space if they choose and the Aton is v1.0. I’m curious if anyone thinks Traxxas can carve out a niche for themselves in the drone space?
