Tarot gimbal unstable

My Tarot T-2d will not hold still when I am turning the knob to tilt go pro down wards. It tilts to the chosen position and stops and the bounces wobbles up and down vary slowly. It will not stay still at any angle except in its home. Has anyone had this happen?

Sounds like the gains need adjusted. Put your finger lightly on the camera and see if you can feel it quivering. If so work trial and error through the gains settings until you can smooth it out. Also look for anything that might be causing the gimbal to hang up, like a wire wrapped around something.

It is stable in all angles when not moved from the straight ahead position. I mean. when I fly around the picture is smooth a forward facing. I only the the hopping (vary slowly) when trying to pitch downwards.
