Hi all

During the maiden flight of my FT680 hexacopter - equipped with a Naza flight controller - I had two very strange crashes, and I have no idea why? It lifted off just fine, but after a few seconds it went crazy, as if it had a life of its own.
Luckily I had my GF film the ordeal.

The first without the compass calibrated

The second with the compass calibrated

Any sugggestions on why?

Thanks in advance

That sucks.. Are you using Opto ESC's and if not, have you removed the red wire from the ESC leads? The worst case scenario is that your Naza is broken or getting some serious interference from somewhere. Two of my multis have Naza's and haven't had any problems, except that they don't fly very well in my opinion. Going to sell them off soon.

My ESC's do not have a build in BEC, so no need to remove any red wire. :)

I thought that the Naza was the "reference model" to use with hexa's?

My gain settings are as follows:

Base gain: 180 180 140 100
atti. gain: 120 120
