XAircraft So what mods have you made today ??

Ok, I didn't know where to put this post, so I started a new thread.
Its a bit frustrating in London today.... the sun is out and the sky is blue but there is a mean wind whipping around that makes it just a bit too blowy (and cold) to fly comfortably. So I settled for making a slight mod to my x650 pro that I have been meaning to do for a while.

I did it first on my DJI Phantom some time ago and I liked the result so now it is on the x650.

First off, I came across the original Xaircraft yellow stickers which I thought I did not have so I put them on :tennis:

These are used to selectively power on or off the FPV Tx and the Stella Gimbal for when I am not using them.
I always disliked having to pull out the plugs each time. I figure it stresses the wiring and it is just a pain.
I made the connections to the switches using plugs... so the stella (for example) plugs into the switch which plugs into the power.
That way there are no permanent connections that need to be unsoldered should I decide to remove either a component (stella or FPV Tx) or the switches..

My spotlights (of which I have previously spoken) are switched on/off from my Tx and so now all my accessories can be switched without resorting to pulling plugs out.

A small but nice mod.

I am always interested to hear of other people's mods so feel free to add yours !!!

They all had dji controller 1 had the new drone controller i was only super x . Where did you get spot light.

Hi Dhardjono,
I saw your props with interest. I like the idea of therelease mechanism but guess it might limit your choice of props.
I looked for a long time to get the right led spots and am REALLY happy with them. Full r/c control and they look very cool.
I got mine from a UK site, but looking again there is one in the US as well :tennis:

Hey, me again....
I looked up the website I used to buy the spotlights.... It's www.4-max.co.uk.
Even if you don't get lights from there the site is worth looking at because it has some goos r/c stuff.
Look at the landing gear retract units.... Very tempting to make a set for the x650
