Aeronavics / Droidworx SkyJib

I plan to purchase the SkyJib Titanium 8, how easy is it to transport? I noticed that online Droidworx offers a custom case. Would I have to completely brake down the machine to place it in the case? Let me know, Thanks.

Hi Eddy,
I have an XM (sky jib's little brother), the landing gear strips down really easy giving you a more "flat" profile to pack, you "can" unbolt boom clamps and swing the booms to give a more packable shape again.... but it's still a bit of work.
I chose the X4 (coaxial) layout pretty much because I can just put it in the back of the car and drive. I plan to make a "road case" that I can drop the entire assembled copter in (props and all) for shipping. But I guess it all depends where and how you are traveling.
