The SkyJib series are the largest craft in the Droidworx fleet; these airframes have been designed for 2826/12 series Axi motors ideally fitted with 14" Xoar propellers. The airframe can also be fitted with larger 4120/20 series engines for higher payloads.

The SkyJib series are the largest craft in the Droidworx fleet; these airframes have been designed for AXi 2826 and 4120 series motors or equivalent, fitted with 14"-15" propellers, engine mounting for both size motors is supplied. SkyJib is an all-in-one series craft, supporting a standard flat configuration, as well as coaxial set-ups, as well as 360 degree 3-axis arrangements. All options are provided for.
As all Droidworx airframes the SkyJib series is made of the highest quality components. All elements are specifically designed to support payloads of up to 10kg as to comfortably carry a RED Epic or similar camera. They are supplied with naturally vibration absorbing 20mm 3k twill uni-directional carbon booms (gloss finish), stronger 4mm 7075/T6 aircraft grade anodized alloy bolts and nuts (the highest grade of lightweight alloys available), larger 11.5mm gear rail tubes and larger anti-vibration grommets and pads. The proven V3-AD series vibration absorbing fibre reinforced composite engine mount and boom mounts are used in the SkyJib series - they have been increased in size to accommodate the larger engines, larger booms and the increased torque and thrust.
The gear rail brackets are made from 3mm polycarbonate with 4 mounting points for increased strength. The modular landing gear assembly is supplied with two battery bays and a camera mount adaptor bracket for fitting the PhotoHigher AV200 and other camera mounts in development for the SkyJib series. A retractable landing gear from PhotoHigher is available for 3-axis arrangements. The craft comes with a standard dome, a high impact high airflow dome and a crash cage for optimum cooling.
This craft is ready to support the professional photographer/cinematographer. The frame comes complete as a kit ready for assembly.

The SkyJib can be fitted with AXi 2826 and 4120 series motors or equivalent. Up to 15" propellers can be fitted - longer booms can be custom made for fitting larger propellers. The span width from engine center to engine center is standard 1130mm. The airframe weighs 1.6kg and is able to carry comfortably a payload (camera + mount) of 5+kg.
