SimonK Beeps

Hi all, I'm having an odd issue with my SimonK flashed ESCs. They are the HobbyKing BlueSeries 30A. Usually, when I hook up the battery, they all give 3 ascending beeps, and then 1 long beep to indicate being armed. However, sometimes they will start up with 2 descending beeps, and then 1 long beep. No matter which beep code it gives, the copter flies perfect. Does anyone know what these beep codes signify?

Beeps are good...... smoke! not so good!

In the case of motor testing on the bench with a $5 speed controller a similar thing happened....... I had accidentally left the speed control at some position above zero speed.
After returning the speed controller to the zero position and rebooting..... all was back to normal.
