I dont have my manual on hand and am curious what the reduction factor is supposed to be on most radios. maybe it varys quite a bit but a range check means nothing if you cant safely calculate the factor in which it is being decreased by. I've got a JR 9503 if that helps.
in relation to that question, when you test range with a multi you only have motors to turn on/off to check it. Using DJI, I assume there is very little danger of the craft taking off once powered up and applying throttle? It still scares me a little every time I do it and hear the motors start screaming.
