At first I was thinking of running the hobby king special turnigy 9x...

HOwever after looking at a few options and what I need I am thinking maybe the spektrum dx series.

I will most likely be flying a dji f45 for video, nothing serious, just hovering shots and when Im out with my buddies. NOthing professional. HOwever I will also eventually be doing FPV.

I am stuck between the dx6i and d7 or 8. What are your thoughts on these radios, and if not spektrum than what?

One word:

Taranis

Search on it.
Even many of the Futaba owners are now dumping their Futabas being replaced with a FrSky Taranis.

Best bang for buck, without spending a bomb.
Because the Taranis is so popular, most sellers sell out, very quickly.

INteresting.. THey are running about 200+ ish dollars. What are the big differences between the 8 and 9 taranis?
