Pixhawk and servos, digital or analog

Hi all

Need a bit of help with the use of servos connected to my Pixhawk

The instructions with Arducopter says to only put analog servos on the Aux ports and never put them on the rest, but what about when using a tricopter configuration, thstcalls for the servo to be on pin7, so is it OK to an analog servo on pin7 or should it be a digital.

Asking because I have tried an analog servo on my tri but it runs very slow, should I use a digital or just other servo.

The instructions are not clear on this.
