As a matter of interest/awareness here is a comparison of the cost of shipping of a small light weight parcel approx 2 x 4 x 4 inches in size.
Based on personal experience over several years:
The cost of a regular postal service shipment between countries within North America would average around $15 to $20 not includes border related issues such as:
shipping/handling, customs-excise, tax and/or exchange rates etc.
The cost of regular postal service shipment between Malaysia and North America can be as low as $2.00...... interesting!
