Orientation

I was just wondering which colours people use in order to improve orientation on their bird. Is there like a worldwide standard? I see different colours on different places.

On my Droidworx frame I have 2 booms in orange detailing.

Nope, no standard anywhere that I am aware of. I personally did what makes sense to me on my MRs, and use red for the rear (LEDs and arm colors), and for the front I use white. For me lines up with red break lights, and white headlights. I know a lot of people that do that same way as me, but I also know some on this forum that do exactly the opposite.

I did red / orange on the rear booms and green on the front from the very start. My friends have it the other way around... I am right of course ;)

Personal preference.

Well I'm going with standard nautical practice, "red-right-returning" meaning the red light is on the left side with the front facing away. To my knowedge, this is used in full-scale aircraft as well.

Frame markings of sorts help me quite a bit. My V1 tri has a wide frame but the front arms are thinner and the landing gear looks like sled runners. On V2 I have no color markings at all. Just a black triangle on the tail pointing forward. V2 has LEDS too. I have a blue/red flashing set on the tail and then solid strips of different colors on each arm.

I am going to flip over the orange booms to the back, makes more sense. Add red LED lighting as well on the bottom and motor mounts, white or green in front.
Appreciate everyones input!
