Noob question regarding colour coding with ESCs and motors

I'm currently building a Droidworx AD6 and due to not being over familiar with electric motors and ESCs am stumped by the lack of colour coding on the wires of the ESCs and the motors.

I have the hobbywing 40amp pentium speed controllers which are labelled A B C out to the motor
and have Torxpower 3536 pro motors which have 3 black wires coming out of them with no markings to distinguish them.

Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks

just connect them up, if the motors are spinning the wrong way just stop two of the wires.

So the middle wire of the three coming from the motor should always connect to B and then if the motor spins backwards swap A and C around?

it doesn't usually matter which goes to which, all you need to do is swap two wires if the motors are spinning the wrong direction.

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
what Jake said. the motors work just like three phase electric motors. once you connect the wires you can switch any two and the direction of the motor will change. if the wires are colored, attach one color to the middle on all of them. Figure out which combination works for clockwise (or CCW) rotation and use that for all the clockwise motors then just reverse those two wires for CCW rotation.
