I was looking for strobe lights and found the following, a 36X zoom-able camera with IR!!! How sick is that? I bet Kloner has like 87 of these already though :D But seriously, does anyone have one of these? Are they awesome or garbage? Seems like it could be pretty useful if you had a "rider" to control it.

If you get one make sure you do a review and post some video here!!! Please, please, please...The Lux setup is sick looking and if you scroll down they have some videos of the camera in action. I'm hoping there's a way to record to SD card versus beaming it to me and recording which may not be crystal clear etc. A night vision camera itself would be sweet but this is just nasty! Can't wait to see it.

you could just hook it up to some sort of SD based DVR, no?

hmm, may have to contact them to see about one for NTSC, that'd be sweet!

It would have to be smaller and support the same resolution or better of the camera itself. That thing is 156g or .35lbs so that would cut your flight times by a minute and a half at least, add the camera on there too and you'll probably lose 3-4 minutes. Hmm....maybe an bigger Hexa or Octo wouldn't feel it. I'm sure they have smaller SD card records but yes, like that and the concept is the same. Good stuff! My nerd brain is consuming knowledge today so it's happy. :)

gotcha. yeah that was a quick search off the top, for a small DVR. yeah I know what you mean, your post really has me thinking this morning.
