Hey all

I am in the start of a hexa build where i am using these conversion booms to make a f550 into something bigger where I can put 14inch props on it.
Along the way I have been able to get my hands an new mount from skyrover, Its not quite on the market yet but I know there should be some out there in the next few weeks.

Its made for small to mid size camera, the servos are direct driven, the frame is made out of powder coated T6061 Aircraft Aluminum (super strong), it's all made in the USA, and the whole thing is weighing out around 520g's. I attached a few photos I took playing around, in case people wondering about the images, I did take them, its part of what I do for a living. I just really like how nice this went together and wanted to share.

IrisAerial, They are pretty strong and solid, no different in the way the 550 is doing it now, except with no flex in the arms.

I have seen them fly and felt them in flight, the vibration seems minimum. Each block matches up hole to hole with the 550 and 450 frames, with the strength of those center hubs I think it will be pretty safe. As I build it I will be posting photos along with my thoughts through the process.

Once I have it up I will also shot vid of it.

Cheers
