Just recently got into RC thanks to my wife. She wanted to get me something new for my birthday and tried to buy a helicopter but the one she bought was little more than blades, motor, and a sensor but it caught my interest.
I happened across a Sharper Image drone on sale, bought it and enjoyed flying it until it croaked. Stopped up at a local RC hobby shop and met an avid (and well set up) flyer. Hung out and watched him fly a number of planes and after he talked to me about moving out of toys and into hobby grade showing me a few setups he had.
I am currently own a pair of CX-30Ws, practicing my skills on Freerider FPV and working my way up to better gear and learning as I go.
