NAZA-M and F-450

I have been flying my F450 with NAZA-M successfully last couple of years.

  • I did not fly a few months of winter here in New Delhi, India
  • Last week I powered it up and the front two motors would not run, while the rear one spin OK.
  • I tried re calibrating. Does not help.
  • Interchanged motors. They seem OK.
  • While system check and boot of NAZA M, the manual says it should be 4 GREEN LED blinks in the end. Now it is only THREE. I am not sure how many blinks were there when it was working perfect. Any clues ?
  • Using V1.8 Assistant Software with Windows XP and Original firmware on NAZA.
  • This is the Old NAZA with Red Label and not NAZA V2.
Thanks for your help.

Try to isolate the problem. What happens if you swap motor connections to the NAZA? Does the problem move with the connection? If not, then you know the issue is within the NAZA. Otherwise, it's the wiring, ESC, or motor. Keep at it this way until you can isolate the issue. Always check power first. That's the easiest thing to do. Then swap connections to the NAZA. Then move ESCs from one motor to another, etc. Eventually you will find the source of the problem. Then we can discuss how best to fix it. Good luck!
