In the past I have been using the DJI 30A ESC's and the DJI motors that come with the F450 ARTF kit but now that I am trying to custom build everything, I got tired of the DJI motors so I moved up to the T-Motor MT2212-13 980 kV motors. I hooked them up to my DJI 30A ESC and only one motors spins when I start them up. The other three just kind of flutter back and forth and I can smell an electrical scent. I actually saw a little bit of smoke come out from under one of the arms. The motors say they only pull 18 amps so I figured the 30A esc's would work fine. Maybe I am completely missing something but I feel like I either have three bad motors which is unlikely because they are new, or some esc issues. Any help would be appreciated. THANKS!
