Motor Angle Adapters

I have a Gaui 500 and when you read the instructions on assembly, they talk about lining the cutout on the arms with the slots on the arm holders. When you do this, the motors are at 90 degrees. Then, when you read a little further they say to angle the motors at 6 degrees, but there's no method of measuring this angle apart from sight. Very strange...

The 6° angle is to overcome deadband when you rotate the copter around its axis when in air. When you assemble the booms with the slots in the boom holders and the motormount, you should have the motors pretty much at 6° angle. The manual is very clear about it. What helped me a lot was to insert the boom (and alligned the notch ) into the motor mount BEFORE I assembled the two halfes of the motormount together. It's easy to double check the 6° tilt of the motors with something like this:
