Mikrokopter Mikrokoptering on a windy day

Bartman

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
Disclaimer: I don't know boo about video editing. Enjoy the video.

The helicopter is my XY8 coaxial quad with the EOSc (EOS-compatible) mount. Winds were steady in the high teens to low twenties with gusts in the high twenties. The windsock is a 20 KT calibrated sock so when it's extended the winds are at least 20 kts. And yes, it would have been nice if I put music to it. :)

The MK flight control has .82 firmware and the bone stock beginner settings.

Hey! I know that place very well! ;) Video looks super stable for the wind. Let me know if you are going to be over there again. I can always use an excuse to ride over to the airport.

Bart, you have a much bigger pair than me mate, there is no way I would fly in that wind! Well done though, it holds very well.
