Can some one elaborate more on why some lipos of similar or close capacities but different brand, have a considerable price gap difference, is it really quality or weight or or something else to consider here are some examples:

Hobbyking.com

Turnigy Nano Tech 6000mha 4S 25C Lipo Pack $ 64.75

Quadrocopter.com :

Thunderpower 6600 4S 25C Lipo Pack $ 179.99

AlleRC.com

Hyperion G3 CX 5000mha 4S 25C Lipoly Pack $92.95

Any feedback on delivery times from Hobbyking US warehouse in the USA

thanks

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
there are rumors of grade A and Grade B packs out there but it's tough to say who uses rejects from who. thunderpower is a fancy way of saying "Puffs sooner than you expect". lots of people are finding that cheap Lipos can be perfectly good Lipos. I've been very weight conscious lately but that's just me being me.

i still have some of the first Turnigy 5000 mah packs that I bought over a year ago. they were cheap, they still take a full charge and i'll use them just as soon as any of my other packs.

shipping can be anywhere from 5 to 14 days. there doesn't seem to be a pattern as far as i can tell. west coasties may get stuff sooner than us righties.

people can fly
with packs you really can't tell coz... well it's a pack and no way to know what's inside, so basically I go with personal or other people's experience and not by the Label or Brand name.
I can speck only for the Turnigy nano's that I 've being using also on my 1/10 RC cars for racing (discharge rate needs there are in the range of 60 to 80C !!!) and if you treat them right (no charge when hot or at extreme Amps) they have no competitor both on cost and performance as far I'm concerned
