Last Chance

I'm about to get my x/a Hexa back up and flying.

Doing some things a little different. I want to increase my flight time so I'm going to do some load testing with running 2ea 4s 5000mah batteries in parallel.
To counteract the added weight, I'm stepping up my prop size from 8" to 9", and getting rid of the protective housing of my GoPro and utilizing an FPVManuals Layer Lens cover to reduce some of the all up weight.

Initial flight tests will be with my previously installed 5.10 firmware, which I have full faith in, ( over 100 flights using this firmware ).

However, after the initial tests are done, I intend to upgrade the firmware to 5.14.
I realize there are risks with changing firmware as no 2 acft fly the same, however, the new features entice me. Primarily slowing down the descent speed on rth landing. The descent speed of 5.10 is rather harsh.

So, it's the last chance to warn me off!
What I would really like is for real life experiences with Hexa users on the 5.14 firmware, please.
