I don't own one... Yet. But it seems to do what you want, and I'm planning on getting one later this fall for the F550 I'm building.

http://www.gentles.ltd.uk/gentled/shutterplus.htm are expensive for what is an IR Led and a servo cable. However it works well on my Nex 5r. I have personally changed end positions which prevents me from activating video in error (bottom of the stick) and instead using shutter for stills only (top of the stick). Don't place the led too close to the nex as it needs to be at least an inch from the sensor. Mine works great

Haleswoodcrew, as well as the cable and LED there is a microcontroller / computer inside the unit too! All for just 3 grams.

Although I don't use a LED type switch for my cameras I will look at this. Thanks
