Yes. My first pilot error crash. It's going to put my flying down for 3 weeks while I fix the craft.

I was testing my build for the 3rd time and it was doing well in gps mode when I activated rth. The craft began flying away instead of towards.

I wanted to cancel rth and regain gps but didn't glance down at the tx. Flipped the switches by feel.

I very nearly lost the craft after it couldn't self level. It began going too fast while I maneuvered.

At least it was zipping at a low angle when it reached the ground, flipped over, and skidded on its top.

After I brought everything home I saw that the tx flight mode switch was on manual.

A learning experience for sure. Experience matters. I just got some. LOL.

Sorry to here that Robert.. We all live and learn, and learn something new everyday, the only thing is in this game the learning curve is VERY expensive!

Pre-flight checks are essential. everything from craft settings to tight prop nuts. Writing and sticking to a pre-fight check list is essential.

Not sure how to post a PDF on here but if you PM me your email address Ill send you mine.
