For a DJI Hexacopter? I assume 7, 1 for each motor and 1 aux?

6. throttle, yaw, aileron, pitch, GPS/attitude and IOC but you can add a fail safe too so 7 ch, which means you want an 8ch radio. but 6 would be the minimum. weather its a quad, hex or octo wouldn't matter, it would still be 6ch minimum.
