Guys i wanna ask if someone has put a Carbon plate above the HFP(1-2cm) in order to protect it from sun light...??

Is there a problem to it ?

i'm just finishing up a HFP quad and I first used a 1/16" plywood plate over the Pro for a sunshade and that has now been replaced with a carbon fiber plate which is where the GPS antenna is mounted. either way, paint the top surface white so it reflects sunlight and stays cooler. mine is still black in the pics but it'll probably get paint next week.

so far, no problems that I could tell.

With the exception of the altitude sensor hole I'm curious if you could put liquid electrical tape all over the board to protect it.

I will put a smaller carbon a little bigger form the board and 1-2cm only above board..! and then i will have the battery with battery plate above all :)

I dont like the tape and the open cell foam..!
