New to the forum and to the hobby my main interest is building a FPV drove for my GoPro to record video for a youtube channel.

welcome to MultiRotorForums.com Joe! Flying a GoPro whether it's hard mounted or in a gimbal will need a little more ooomph than the popular 250 sized racers can offer. a quad with something like the Tiger MT2212 motors (or equivalent) would be a minimum spec for what you're looking to do.
