Hello from MD

I am a complete Noob to flying.
I had a micro quad that i can barely get off the ground.
I like the idea of making my own quad and i have been fascinated by the 250 FPV quads. I love the customization and building it.
If there are any other flyers in the Baltimore area, I would love to know about any get togethers.
I would like to build a budget flyer that has components that i can change out to improve as i break things or learn more specifics about how i enjoy flying the most.
Let the research begin.
