Hello everyone, I have a confession to make............

I own a Phantom. There I said it. I know the Phantom gets bashed by many hard core builders and flyers. I've been around RC for about 7 or 8 years and consider myself a pilot and not an operator. I love me some foamie planes and planks make me smile.

I started in multirotors in the early days of tricopters that were stabilized with 4 analog gyros so I've been around them for a while. I stepped away from multirotors for a while because, being a videographer, everything had to carry a camera and I got tired or all the post production after going flying. I recently got the Phantom second hand from a friend that upgraded to the Vision. I helped him get the Phantom working and while I know it is super simple for newbies it makes me smile flying it. I love that I can fly it and not have to be constantly reacting and thinking about what is happening. It also makes me happy to know if something does happen I'm a good enough pilot to handle it manually if needed.

Anyway, just wanted to say hello to everyone.

Thanks Bartman,

We met at eFest and had a long conversation by the 3d area where you told me about these forums. I also sent an email to you personal address regarding our conversation.

So glad I'm not looked down on for being a Phantom flyer. Big relief. So glad I behave when flying out. :)
