Hello everyone my name is Kevin.... I live in Fort Wayne Indiana and I hope I receive a warm welcome to the forum with over 17,000 members I'm sure I will find answers to everything I want to know as far as intelligent and compassion advice. this is a newfound passion for me that I soon hope to make a full blown hobby if not into more someday. As of right now one week into it the only quadricopter that I own is a CX 10... Very simple and under dimensional I hoped to acquire the passion from one of the cheapest relatively unsatisfying quadracopters I believe you can purchase and I caught the bug so here I am. Mostly my reason for joining the forum is to communicate with people about commercial jobs and applications coming up in the near future. it is my current understanding that as of right now the FAA has no certification or certificate or exams in any way to certify yourself I may be incorrect. I will be mostly searching this forum to find out where I can get accredited information so I'm not wasting time or money.

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com Kevin! The FAA is working on regulations at the moment so operating for hire isn't something you should consider. Take your time, learn what you can, and ask questions when you have them. A question is a lot cheaper than a crash!
