H3-3D range of motion?

I just installed the DJI H3-3D gimbal. I have it on an S900 with A2 and lightbridge. I have all controls going through the A2 and had a quick question of the tilt range of the gimbal.

Will the H3-3D gimbal look up? Right now I can only control it to look straight out and down. Also how do I connect the HDMI ribbon cable instead of the USB output? Does the HDMI need to go from GoPro direct to the Lightbridge or will it connect to the gimbal itself?

Nola26, hang in there, I'm coming to help! :)

I've got a new build going and I'm trying to get a first video done showing the plan and performance estimates. It'll be a quad with an H3-3D so I'll be able to help soon.

If the H3-3D is like the -2D then tilt motion will be limited from level to straight down. It will move beyond those position in order to stabilize the camera but I don't think you'll be able to deliberately aim the camera higher or lower than the basic limits.
