Hello everyone,
I reside in Texas, East of Houston a bit and near Galveston Bay. I am an old man but interested in RC and multirotors I recently finished my first build. It is a quad, about 550 size. I've flown it several times and trying to get it zeroed in, am presently redoing the motor mount arrangement because I think the motors are not staying aligned exactly as they should so each flight it might not act the same as it did the flight before. When that is done I will be ready to get serious tuning it, and teaching myself to fly it.
I would like to find like flyers in the area that would like to swap ideas and information.
This build is a home made square aluminum frame with carbon fiber (3) center plates for stability and mounting equipment. The motors are 1000kv with 10x4.5 props with a KK2.1 board, I am using a DX6i transmitter and the receiver is a Spektrum 6210 dsmx.
