Hello everyone.
I am currently a full time student at Florida State University studying Computer Engineering. I have recently had an urge to pursue multi-copters as a hobby. I have had some experience with R/C cars in the past. However, I found replacing a servo every trip to the track to become somewhat tiresome. Needless to say, my interest in the subject declined...
Now I have been introduced to the idea of multi-copters, which interests me greatly, to say the least.
So my journey begins.
I have recently purchased some products to help get me started:
-Blade MQx BNF Quadcopter
-Spektrum DX6i
-Pheonix V4.0 Flight Sim
-4 x Extra Battery for MQx
-2 x AR400 Receiver

They will arrive at my house this Wednesday! I cannot wait!
This week happens to be my Spring Break... I know what I'll be doing - Learning to fly!

Down the road I hope to own a multi-copter capable of taking footage (AP/AV), as I feel like the applications are boundless, and somewhat unexplored.
First Person Video would also be a really neat goal to accomplish. But that is a ways down the road.

Anyways, Hope I haven't rambled on too long. I'd hate to overstay my welcome.

Thanks,
Uklealey

Welcome right back from Florida... I'd have suggested the DJI F450 for a quad or maybe the TBS Discovery which is immensely popular.
