Graupner 10x5 on stock DJI motor issue

I have an issue with the Graupners. While they fit right onto the DJIs, the threads on the DJI motor's prop adapter/shaft don't run deep enough to hold the Graupners tight. The hub on the graupner is shorter than the hub on the DJI props. How do you guys get around this? Do you use a washer or something?

I would be somewhat concerned about using a nylon or plastic washer because as the motor heats up, the nylon MIGHT soften a bit and allow the prop to loosen enough to slip. I use a 8mm metal washer UNDER the prop and have not had any issues at all.
With the Graupners, you may want to carefully sand away the raised lettering on the top of the prop hub. This would allow a much better full contact surface for the nut as well.
BTW, the 8mm washers go UNDER the prop. If you decide to put the washer on TOP of the prop, you'll need 6mm washers.

Hi, I just did the 8mm washer thing and the washer is a tiny bit bigger than the shaft, maybe .5 to .75 of a mm to big. Seeing how i can't get this dead centre would this not unbalance the motors?

When I got my stainless steel washers at an industrial hardware store, I took one of my DJI 2212/920 motors along and hand fitted the washers for the best match.
There WERE minor differences between some of the washers.
I'm thinking that because of how close the washers are to the center of rotation, any balance/vibration issues would be extremely tiny.
