GH3, Zenmuse and different lenses.

Can someone tell me exactly why it isn't possible to balance the GH3 Zenmuse gimbal with anything other than an Olympus Zuicko f2.0 lens ?
Is there nowhere to stick counter-weights ? Are the barrel of other lenses (eg Panasonic 12-35mm) just too long, and the landing gear gets in the way when the gimbal moves about whilst it 'sets itself', on 'power up ?
Are the Gimbal motors just not man enough to handle the extra weight ?
What is the problem ?

You can use smaller lens. The 14mm is pretty good. It's the rear bar of the Zenmuse that gets in the way. Honestly, when you get the zenmuse you can experiment. It may well be possible. You can add counter weights no problem but that's not the issue, the issue, I believe, is space. Don't quote me on that though!
