One of my motors had a bit side to side slop. The other 3 motors are ok. So I ordered a new motor for a quick fix. The new motor had so much side to side slop, that I immediately sent it back and ordered another one... I received another new and tested motor which runs brilliant. Well...it's so much better. Even better than the other 3 motors. So I changed the bearings on one of them and now it runs absolutely smooth without any slop.
A few days ago I checked the motors of my fathers 500X. All 4 motors are as good as my new motor. I don't know how much slop is critical but I feel much better without it.
