Functions vs channals

I have a WL v686 and I am building on a Tricopter, and I wonder, how can a 4 channel radio have a lot more functions, like camera filming, camera still shot, led on off, 4 speed rates, and more with only 4 channels?

Er, it can't. You want more functions then you need more channels.

But it does WL v686 has a 4ch transmitter and all this functions???

On a tricopter you ARE using all 4 channels for the four basic functions, 3 motors and Yaw servo so nothing left for anything else
