FrSky D8R-II plus won't power up

Hey guys,

This is my first build, so please go easy if it turns out to be a stupid mistake.
First, relevant build details:
Eagletree Vector
FrSky D8R-II Plus

I can get the vector to power up, but when I plug in my receiver via my vector Rx harness, it doesn't turn on at all.
Anyone had this problem before? Or any suggestions at all?

So, does you receiver power up if run directly from another 5v source,
eg 5v battery or an esc's bec?

I think there should be a 5v power drop from the harness. It's a white servo connector. You can try that and see if you get power.
