A bit about us:

Flying Robot international Film Festival (FRiFF) is the the world's first competitive international drone film festival. 153 films were submitted to last year’s inaugural competition from 35 countries. Spanning seven categories, including Drones for Good, Student Film, and Aerial Sport, entries from the top 20 finalists were screened at San Francisco’s Roxie Theater this past November. The awards ceremony, held after the first of two screenings concluded, granted over $10,000 in cash and prizes to the winners.

Recognized by FastCompany in their “The Most Innovative Companies of 2016” feature for “providing a platform for the best in drone filmmaking,” FRiFF has already established an international presence in its first year after screening at the Emergence Creative Festival in Margaret River, Western Australia, and Gascoyne River Music Festival further up the coast this past March.

FRiFF will return this fall for its second installment in San Francisco. Early bird entries are now open in eight categories for an introductory submission price of $10.
