I'm a new drone owner and live in a no-fly zone. My drone is a MAVIC AIR. My question is: Can the no-fly zone protection on the drone be turned off so I can fly in my basement? I know you can get get permission to fly in no-fly zones from the FAA, so I'm thinking there must be a way to turn this feature off.
At the moment, I'm taking the drone to the local park where I CAN fly and bringing it home to fly in the basement. Since the GPS doesn't work in the basement it works, but I'd like to be able to just turn this feature off.
