Today I received my first quad a hubsan x4. I've ordered it after several threads mentioning here that you should learn to fly with a micro before even considering building a full fledged rig.
I did and after crashing into a lamp, nicking my thumb twice by the props, damaging two props in about 5 minutes, I can only thank this forum for this wise advice.
Second flight went very smooth by the way, but after the first couple of crashes my flights are very cautious.
I notice it not very hard to learn (at least not in 'normal mode' with low response sticks) but you WILL crash and to get a really got feeling for this I guess i will need to spend a couple of weeks with this micro.
I also noticed that trimming the micro is quite a pain, any tips for that?
o yes: and its fun
