Set all the throttle configs on the 45amp Maytechs last night and then got to thinking. Leave everything stock or switch to 16hz instead of 8?

Thanks for any help ESC gurus, much appreciated!!

Actually would be KHz. The 8K chop rate is the reason one hears the motors whine when armed and spun. Based on previous experience with other (non-hobby) PWM controllers, I have thought about this for many a moon. I suspect that other than the reduction of audible racket, there really wouldn't be any. I'm guessing the inertial mass of the rotor/prop combo is more than enough to nullify the difference in acceleration force exhibited by the electromagnets for very short (millisecond) periods. That said, I notice that DJI uses 24kHz in their controllers. Fly it both ways and let us know!

You'll find that 16 will work better for you. And, as Electro mentioned, the 16 chop rate will be a bit less noisy as well.
