Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
Ladies and Gentlemen,

I'm very happy to welcome Droidworx to the site's small but distinguished list of advertisers. To let us know how much they appreciate our business they've offered a gift for one lucky multirotorforums.com member to enjoy and fly for years to come (hopefully!). In order to determine who that one lucky person will be we've come up with a contest.

The contest rules are simple, a winner will be drawn randomly from everyone that posts to this thread. Posting more than once will not help your chances of winning (although Karma may factor in if you've got lots of nice things to day about Droidworx). Spammers, Moderators, and Admin are not eligible, only registered users are eligible. The deadline for posts to this thread will be June 19th, 2011.

So what's the prize? The prize is a free Droidworx AD-4 frame! Just about any flight controller can go in it and you don't need monster motors to make it fly.

http://www.droidworx.com.au/quad.html

So let's hear why you think you should be the one to win it!

Thanks again to Droidworx for being a supporter of multirotorforums.com and good luck everyone!

crash,
I can't make any promises but DW has been very reasonable so far so the best I can say is maybe? I guess your question counts as a post so you're officially entered.
good luck.

Sounds like we're being asked to do more than just say "yes, please!"...

Yes, please! Please, please, please! Pretty please! :p

Correct, we want to know why you should be the winner of a Droidworx frame. Be creative, take pictures, make up a good story, most of all be entertaining, we want to make you work for it, at least a little bit ;)

When I did a giveaway for a ritewing , we made the punters shoot a youtube video of why they should be selected. funny stuff.

Droidworx kicks ass, brown nosing should be reason enough for a win, but I'll also write up a detailed review of the frame for this site.

@Mat, Aren't you a dealer?!?

@Flyeye, no strings attached, it's a random drawing not a "free-frame-on-the-supposed-premise-of-a-test/development-report"....you posted, you're in! Good luck!

I'd like to win it myself but I can't :(

@bart - nope , www.photohigher.co.nz are their NZ dealer

however, it would make sense for the only multicoptor specialist in New Zealand (me) to actually be their rep ........ :D

for got to say, well done droidworx for stepping up and donating a quad - i feel a news article coming on !

Welcome to MultiRotorForums.com!!
mat,
i'll defer to DW on that :)

you mentioned a video, which was discussed as a possible element of the contest, but we wanted it to be a contest that anyone could win and a prize that anyone could use. quads are fun, it's just the way it is. hexa's and okto's are fun too but their not as beginner friendly so I asked that we go with a quad for the prize. maybe we can do a video contest in the future with a different prize but for now I wanted to focus on the multi-rotors and not the aerial photo/video aspects of multi's.

I think I should get the Droidworx frame so that I can give up my night hobby which is constantly building new landing gear for the X650

I think I screwed up the contest email I just sent out. It's got your userID number instead of username in the greeting.
But you all know who you are, don't you? :confused::confused:
