DJI Zenmuse GH3, need dimensions please

Would anyone happen to have a spare GH3 zenmuse laying around and a few minutes to document the dimensions of the mounting points? I'm drawing up frame plates for a new hexacopter and if I go ahead and build it it is going to be so that I can fly an A2 and the gh3/4 zenmuse.

some dimensions and a photo showing how the mount is attached would be helpful.

c'mon folks!!! who's got one sitting around that they can take a look at?? I'll send a free t-shirt to anyone willing to send me the gimbal for a few days. I'll send it right back, just need to inspect it for mounting purposes while I test out the A2. If the A2 works then the frame and gimbal are a go.

Hi Bart,

Well, it should be the same as the GH2 as it fits the S800. So with my ruler I get: 15.5cm between the payload rails (center of rails). 11.5cm between points on one rail.

So, on the FRONT picture it's 15.5cm from the mid point of the brackets, and on the SIDE picture it's 11.5cm from the mid point of the brackets.

Hey Bart and Ben!

The mounting points on the zen GH3 are different to those on the zen GH2. The spacing from side to side is the same, but they have now increased the distance between the front and rear points. I dont have my zen GH3 in front of me at the moment but I'll have a look tomorrow if you havent gotten an answer by then.

e2a: I guess it still fits the S800 like Ben says because it hangs off rails (?). On my Droidworx set up it doesnt hang off rails but attaches to a modified DW zenmuse adapter plate.

You're in luck as mine is not attached at present. It fits on the rails that are 12mm dia. Distance between rails 157mm, distance between mounts on same rail 175mm (both to centres)

I'm curious, what's the servo for? Is that an FPV cam on the other end??
