Interesting.
It looks like it's using the same motors, props and ESCs as the S800 EVO.
I wonder if those retracts are the same too. They sure look like it.

If it is what it looks like then switching to an S1000 from and S800 EVO looks possible with the purchase of 8 arms, 2 motors, 2 escs, 2 props and the centre section.

rilot by he spare part price from DJI, you would probably be better off buying an s1000.

I am just amazed that DJI finally switch over to a solid stated arm. To bad it wasnt already done for the EVO !

Anyone want to have a guess at the price of this?
I reckon it will be £2999 for the frame kit with retracts.

Foldable Arms, Retractable Landing Gear, Light Weight, Long Flight Time with Z15-5D should have a good price.
Let's wait patiently and see! :nevreness:

When is the expected availability of this unit? I just yesterday bought an Evo s800 and haven't yet assembled it, so probably still eligible for return. If it's available soon enough, I would be inclined to return this purchase and sport the difference for the octo folder seen above in the photos. Or, does anyone have any string I onions as to whether I'd be better off with the new folding sky jib QR or other frame I might not know about?

thanks, in advance, for your feedback and assistance regarding this matter.

sincerely,
jonathan

p.s. Happy belated thanksgiving!

I too bought an S800 EVO yesterday but I will be keeping it. It's all about buying the right craft for your needs. The S800 EVO fitted my needs and so got bought.
Also, read up on all the issues with the first release of the S800. I wouldn't be surprised if there are similar issues with this S1000 once flyers get their hands on them.

I wouldn't hold your breath for stock availability too. DJI don't exactly have a great track record when it comes to lead times.
