Okay great! I've never seen one of these in person and what I know is from lots and lots of research and reading. I built a collective pitch heli that was just too difficult to fly and I have a small cheaper quad that I I can fly easily but these large photography drones I don't have any experience. Do the return home failsafes work? Have you had any problems with it? Do you know if the gps compass puck is the pro or pro plus? And is this the s1000 premium or plus? Also if you don't mind where are you located at and are you good with shipping it with me paying? I'm sorry for all the questions I'm just trying to cover all my bases bc I'm buying one of these to bring my bait,a piece of stingray out about 300 to 500 yards off the beach for shark fishing and want to make sure it's been taken care and was built right. This is the original S1000. The failsafe works perfectly. The compass is the pro. I'm in Utah, so I could certainly ship to you. I have had the platform for three years. I did have one crash two weeks after buying it. It was due to a flight controller problem which DJI acknowledged and fixed at their expense. It has flown fine since it was repaired, although I have not flown it in over a year.
